Increased interest in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is due to the fact that preparation of financial statements in accordance with these standards is one of the conditions necessary for native enterprises to enter the international market.  This makes managers and accountants think about the financial statement of their organization that should include not only accounting of assets and liabilities but also a general financial condition from the standpoint of international standards.
